Camiye ait vakıf kayıtlarında belirtildiği üzre Sultan II.Bayazıd (1481-1521) döneminde görev yapmış olan veziri oğlu Mehmed efendi tarafından yaptırılmıştır.cami asıl ibadet mekanı ve son cemaat yerinin üzeri ahap çatı ile örtülmüştür.bir çok kez onarımdan geçen cami son olarak 1952de onarılarak ibadete açılmıştır.caminin doğusunda bir kaç mezardan oluşan küçük bir haziresi vardır.VELEDİ-İ VEZİRİ MOSQUE
According to its wagf records this mosque was built by Mehmed efendi son of veziri who rendered service during the rign of Sultan Beyazıd II (1481-1512). With is main prayer hall and its portico for latecomers, it is built with a rectangular ground plan. This mosque was renovated many times. After the last renovation made in 1952, it was opened for worshipping. At the mosque's east, there is a small graveyard consisting of some graves.
