KARABAŞ-I VELİ DERGAHI

16.yüzyılda halvetiye tarikatına bağlı olarak şeyh Yakup Çelebi (vefatı.1550) tarafından kurulmuş olan dergah 19.yüzyılda 1925.de tekkelerin kapatılmasına kadar kadiriye tarikatının eşrefiye koluna bağlı şeyhler tarafından idare edilmiştir dergahın kuruluşundaki özgün yapılarının tamamı günümüze gelememiştir.Günümüzde kullanılan semahane ise H.1238 (1822) tarihinde yapılmıştır.1851 tarihli kayıtlardan dergahın semahane şeyh odaları iki derviş odası misafir odaları sofa ve abdesthane kısımlarından meydana geldiği anlaşılmaktadır.II.Mahmut döneminde 1808-1839) ampir üslubuyla tasarlanan semahanenin kubbesinde yer alan kalem işi süslemeler dönemin özgün örneklerindendir.Osmangazi belediyesi tarafından 2002 yılında restorasyona başlanan bina 2005. yılında tamamlanarak Karabaşı-Veli kültür merkezi adıyla hizmete açılmıştır semahanenin dogu tarafında yer alan hazirede dergahta görev yapan şeyh lerin yanı sıra bursa da görevli başka zatlar ile onların eşlerine ait mezarlar bulunmaktadır.

KARABAŞ-I VELİ DERVISH LODGE

This dervışh lodge was founded in the 16th.centruy by sheikh yakup çelebi (died 1550) as a depending lodge of halvetiye tarikat dervish order between the 19th. centruy and the closing -down of all smalldervish lodges in 1925.it was managed by sheikhs who were dependents of the eshrefiye  branch of kadiriye tarikat dervışh lodge all of the original structures which existed at the time of its foundation heve not survived the sema hall which is still in use today was built in 1238.A.H.(1822).records dating from 1851.state that this dervışh lodge consisted of a sema hall the sheikhs rooms, two dervish rooms, guestrooms, a hall, an ''abdesthane'', or room for ablution and of similiar sections.
The sema hall designed during the reign of Mahmud II (1808-1839) in the Empire style with its dome's hand-drawn decorations represents one of the authentic samples of that period.
The restoration of this building was started by Osmangazi Municipality in 2002, and completed in 2005, when it was opened to the puclic as ''Karabash-i Veli Cultural Centre''.
In the graveyard, whic is situated at the east of the sema hall, there are,besides te tombs of those sheikhs who had rendered service to the lodge, also those of other people who had officalially rendered service in Bursa, as well as those of their wives.
